Where to begin?

What I should do is show the progression of my skills as a cookie decorator, but that would be way embarrassing. Maybe someday I will do that..... One of the things that I always keep in my head is what Sweetsugarbelle says, it's not how good you do the design that makes you good, it's learning how to be creative and fix the mistakes.

I make mistakes, all of the time. Things happen that I can't control...humidity, etc... Perfection is something that I strive for, if that even exists in the world of cookies. Some days it happens, some days it doesn't.

So, I will leave you with my latest set, monkeys and bananas for a 10 year old little girl who's Mommy calls her "Monkey". I love that.

I've taken inspiration from other people for long enough...it's time for me to be that inspiration for new cookie decoraters in the depths of the sugar rush. So, I've started this blog, to thank all of those wonderful cookie decoraters who have inspired me, and make me work and sweat tirelessly in the kitchen.....slaving away for hours to even be 1/8 as good as they are in their field. Will anyone read this blog, who knows, but maybe...just maybe I can be something to someone out there. :)
